Barbara Jenkinson - Director

Dr Barbara Jenkinson started Light & Life, along with Yvonne Hall, in Feb 2007. She has served in Christian leadership and ministry for over 20 years and has a strong passion to see people grow in intimacy with Jesus and be raised up to walk into their full destiny and calling.   

A passionate evangelist, worship leader and pioneer, she carries a strong prophetic and pastoral anointing. Prior to founding Light & Life she enjoyed a successful business career as a corporate strategist, and still occasionally teaches in Scottish universities.

Barbara sits on the UK’s Prophetic Round table (with Dr Sharon Stone), serves as a trustee of Glasgow Prophetic Centre and was formally on the Scottish board of Aglow International. She has served with Youth with a Mission and worked in missions in Africa, Romania and Portugal. She now lives in Ayrshire with her husband Colin and young family.

Emma Stark - Prophetic / Spiritual Readings

Emma is our lead trainer for activating and releasing people in the gift of prophecy. A gifted prophet and teacher, Emma is passionate about equipping and releasing people into their prophetic gifting. Emma (along with her husband David)  founded the Glasgow Prophetic Centre and Scottish UK Prophetic Roundtable. She also sits on the UK Prophetic Roundtable and lives in Glasgow with her family.

Gail Montgomery - Massage

Gail is our lead trainer for massage. She teaches simple massage techniques and shows people how to combine them with prayer and prophecy. Gail also helps to lead Healing Rooms in Troon, is involved with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) and previously spent several years as a missionary with Mercy Ships (in Africa) where she, along with her husband Michael, directed a number of Discipleship Training Schools. They live in Ayrshire with their two amazing children, Emily-Joy and Joshua.

Allan McKinlay - Worship Coordinator

Allan is our worship coordinator and has responsibility for overseeing  / appointing musicians for each of our events. A gifted singer / songwriter he has an amazing gift for leading worship (listen to some of his music here) and has featured on major Festival bills (Nth Fest, CLAN), supported acts such as Bluetree, Yfriday and Superhero and released several albums of his own. Allan lives in Ayrshire with his wife Naomi and two beautiful children.

Colin Jenkinson - Technical Director

Colin Jenkinson is an amazing husband, father and man of God. He runs the technical side of Light & Life (website, mail management systems, computers etc.) and has a heart to see the Kingdom of God manifested through love, signs, wonders and miracles.

Becky Frank - Conferences, fundraising & Dumfries

Becky has recently taken on the role of Conference and Fundraising Manager and will take a lead role in managing those activities and in pioneering our L&L fair in Dumfries. Originally from America, Becky spent many years in Israel where she and Daniel were the Middle East Field Coordinators for MVI.  Becky and Daniel moved to Scotland in 2003, with their children Bethany and Lyle, and loved our country so much that she decided to take Scottish citizenship in Oct 2009. (Welcome to Scotland Becky!).

Becky has a real heart for seeing ordinary people raised up into their giftings and particularly loves helping out at our fairs and events. Prior to joining Light & Life Becky taught primary school and served as Scotland coordinator for HOPE.

Linette Penney - Prophetic Art

Linette is our lead trainer for prophetic art. A gifted artist and teacher, Linette has a passion for seeing others released into their creative gifting and delights in encouraging people to be creative with their creator. A busy mum  with three beautiful children, Linette also runs her own art studio (Penney Lane), on-line art gallery (Judah’s Roar), and is an accomplished worship leader and song writer.

Allana Parker - Communications Manager

Allana is our communications manager and has responsibility for ensuring our events are adequately covered in the media. She networks with reporters, newspapers, magazines, and individuals within radio and television to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity of hearing about our events and also about the things Jesus does at them. Allana also helps out at our massage stalls and is helping to develop the material for Prophetic Personality Profiles.

Ron and Anne Watkins - Area Coordinators: East Kilbride

Ron & Anne Watkins are area coordinators for East Kilbride. Both carry a strong healing and evangelistic anointing and have a heart to see Scotland transformed by the incredible love and power of Jesus. Both also serve as regional directors with Healing Rooms.

Stuart & Janette Gilbert - Area Coordinators: Ayrshire

Stuart & Janette Gilbert are area coordinators for Ayrshire. Stuart has an incredible anointing for healing whilst Janette is gifted in intercession, evangelism and prophecy.

Both have a desire to see Ayrshire transformed as Jesus is manifested through signs, wonders and miracles.

Mark & Morna Cairney - Area Coordinators: East Kilbride

Mark & Morna Cairney also serve as area coordinators for East Kilbride. They carry strong pastoral and discipleship giftings and Mark works as associate pastor with East Mains Baptist church.

They live in East Kilbride with their two beautiful children.

Dan and Amy Chadney - Area Coordinators: Glasgow

Dan and Amy Chadney are our area coordinators for Glasgow. Both have a strong prophetic gifting and previously served as leaders in their local church.

Dan is an accomplished singer song-writer with an incredible gift for leading worship. Check out his music here. When he’s not involved in leading worship, recording albums, renovating houses and spending time with family and friends he works in his day job as a graphic / web designer

Amy is an incredible artist with a huge heart for people. A strong visionary, she has the ability to inspire and motivate others to pursue their dreams and find intimacy with Jesus.

Dan and Amy live in Glasgow with their young family.

Iris Gooding and Stevie McKie - Leadership Team, Ayrshire

Iris Gooding and Stevie McKie are also on the Ayrshire leadership team. Iris is married to Brian (Pastor of Seagate, Troon) and has a strong anointing for intercession, teaching, discipleship and prophecy. She helped pioneer Healing on the Streets (Troon) and is actively involved in numerous evangelistic and mercy activities. Stevie has a strong healing anointing and is gifted in dream interpretation. His heart is to see spiritual renaissance in Scotland (check out his website here).

Brian and Brenda Mitchell - Area Coordinator, West Lothian

Brian and Brenda both serve as leaders in their local church and are heavily involved in evangelism both locally and though out Britain. They have a vision to see people move into ministry in a supportive environment and create opportunities for this to be achieved. These were some of the aims of "The Truth is out There", an annual evangelistic outreach held in Livingston. Learning outcomes from this event has been implemented throughout Scotland.

Brian has trained with Open Air Campaigners and co-ordinates the Fellowship of Christian Magicians for Scotland. His giftings are in evangelism, discernment and the prophetic, and a labourer for Christ.

Brenda is a multi tasker with ministry in prayer,discernment, healing and moves in the prophetic. She is a member of the Praise and worship team.
